AIGA KNOXVILLE’S HOLIDAY CARD COMPETITION SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH NOV 23
  1. ELIGIBILITY
    This competition is open to everyone!
  2. ENTRIES/TIME
    Enter a card design for the holidays
    This year’s theme: humor
  3. GENERAL SPECS
    • Folded size: 4.625" x 6.25"
    • Flat card size: 9.25" x 6.25"
    • Flat card size with bleed: 9.5" x 6.5" (.125" bleed on all sides)
    • 4-color outside and blank inside
    • Design can extend to the back of the card
    • The AIGA Knoxville logo must be included on back as part of the design. Download the AIGA Knoxville logo (eps) here.
    • May be designed horizontally or vertically
    • 240 line screen
    • Image should be 300 dpi at size
    • Only PDF format files will be accepted
  4. HOW TO ENTER
    1. Create your design following the guidelines
    2. Name the file(s) to correspond with your name (example: john_smith_01.pdf, john_smith_02.pdf, etc.)
    3. When your file is ready, enter on our website
    4. You will receive a confirmation email that we received your entry and payment
  5. ENTRY FEES
      Students AIGA Members Non-Members
    1-5 $5 per entry $10 per entry $15 per entry
    6+ $25 flat rate $50 flat rate $75 flat rate
  6. AGREEMENT
    By submitting your work to the competition, you are agreeing to your work being displayed on the knoxcards.org website, the AIGA Knoxville website and on display on December 4, 2009. If your entry is chosen as one of the top four entries you are agreeing to release your image to be printed (without a charge to you) as folded cards and sold by Knoxville AIGA as a fundraiser for AIGA and Second Harvest Food Bank.
